In November she contracted pneumonia (likely from Dad), resulting in discovery of bronchiectasis which is the same lung disorder Mom had that caused her susceptabiltiy to the chronic (TB-like) infection. Tuesday she learned that she's got uterine cancer and has now been scheduled for a radical hysterectomy today. I'm not even asking "WHY?" I just want it to stop. She's always done the hard things, because they're the right things. The Joy in the morning isn't overcoming .... in fact, her dog named Joy also has cancer and heart disease and I know its death is imminent but April needs a break! My request of our Clear River prayer partners is for miracles for my youngest kid sister. April's lung condition is categorized incurable, possibly manageable; uterine cancer is terrifying, but hopefully isolated. All good health can come to her through Christ, our great physician, so we can ask! Please pray her and the surgeon successfully through her operation, and for the wisest and kindest of care to be shown while she's hospitalized.....and long after.
