PRAISE REPORT! Thanks to all that have prayed with me and my family over April's surgery and recovery, for our merciful God chose to say, "Yes!" The doctor reported that evidence showed no spread of the uterine cancer; however, a program of precautionary radiation treatments will follow in several weeks. April is still having quite a bit of pain (as expected), but has been greatly blessed by the support and encouragement our brothers and sisters in Christ have shared with us through this storm. THANK YOU!

I humbly ask that you pray for our family. We are being unfairly persecuted by the media and the City. They have been after us for years and only report their version. Please pray that God intervenes for us,fights on our side,forces the truth out and exposes the lies told about us.In Jesus Name make our accusers slip in their words,cause them confusion and make the truth come out of them,make their lies be exposed. This persecution has broken us.Their power is great but Gods power is greater and on the side of truth.Pray God causes fear in our enemies because they purposely harm us and purposely cause us fear.Pray God cuffs us in His hands and protects us. We are on our knees begging for intervention. My sister April is under serious attack. In November she contracted pneumonia (likely from Dad), resulting in discovery of bronchiectasis which is the same lung disorder Mom had that caused her susceptabiltiy to the chronic (TB-like) infection. Tuesday she learned that she's got uterine cancer and has now been scheduled for a radical hysterectomy today. I'm not even asking "WHY?" I just want it to stop. She's always done the hard things, because they're the right things. The Joy in the morning isn't overcoming .... in fact, her dog named Joy also has cancer and heart disease and I know its death is imminent but April needs a break!
My request of our Clear River prayer partners is for miracles for my youngest kid sister. April's lung condition is categorized incurable, possibly manageable; uterine cancer is terrifying, but hopefully isolated. All good health can come to her through Christ, our great physician, so we can ask! Please pray her and the surgeon successfully through her operation, and for the wisest and kindest of care to be shown while she's hospitalized.....and long after. Our agreement in asking for complete and rapid healing will be appreciated, and I am boldly going to ask for one more thing: that great joy will quickly come to stay in April's life.

Thank you for your prayers during this trying time for my sister and my family, and myself. As of Friday - January 20, 2012 - 9:00 PM EST, my sister is now recouperating in the ICU. My family was informed that the operation went very well, and that she seems to be - thus far - faring well and is in recouperation. The operation took place on the morning of the 20th at approximately 10:00 / 11:00 AM. Her condition is still - I believe - "technically" critical, and she is by no means completely out of the woods yet - but I credit the success of her operation firstly to the loving compassion of our heavenly father - and secondly - to you, for your prayers - and your vigilance. Please continue praying for her for as long as you see necessary, and I cannot begin to thank you - nor could I ever sufficiently repay you - for the love and kindness that you have shown, and shared. God bless and love you all - and thank the Lord, and I also thank you all.

She will be getting four (4) heart bypasses because of blockages in her arteries. She is in the hospital now - and the surgery will be taking place either tommorrow or the next day. I'm having cataract surgery tomorrow Monday 9th. I had the right eye done a few months ago and hoping this second one will clear up the double vision and other possibly related conditions like balance etc.. My doctor is excellent!
Also, I have a "chronic?" pain condition which has been labeled "unusual syndrome" by my current doctors. It's been a year with burning pain in upper body, face and hands 24/7 and loss of energy. The lips and fingers are severe.

Mom needs prayer too besides Dad in the hospital. I got home at 10:30 pm from the stroke unit where Dad was moved from emergency and some strange rash broke out all over her so tomorrow need an urgent appt. with her dermatologist and hoping it is not contagious. Please pray for the right timing for everything and His marvelous peace and healing to carry us.

I am at the emergency room at Fairfax with my Dad right now. We had to call an ambulance from his doctor's office because he suddenly could not stand and it is possible he has had a stroke earlier this week (and maybe today too). His blood pressure has been running high all week and right now is at 220/111. Please pray it is lowered so he can go to his hospital room. His primary care physician basically said it is now time for assisted living options, etc., and my Mom is pretty shaken up by all of this. I am needing a lot of wisdom for both of my parents in their confused state. Please pray I know how to walk with the Lord through this and also on my set date to return to the Hawaii base (Jan. 21) to train university students again for their missions trips. Two mission courses and a group of children are expecting me as well as some others. Thank you dear friends so much!

My wife and I need Gods direction. My 17 year old son has been in much trouble. He is drinking and smoking pot along with problems at school. He is a junior in high school. We are considering sending him to a Chirstian Military school in Mobile Alabama. We live in Minnesota. We need to make a fast decision for he turns 18 in one month. Alabama dont reconize adults till age 19. So we would have some control for a year. This is the hardest decsion we have ever had to make. Please pray for Christs direction.
